Congratulations to Ori Gold and Liran Koren, the creators of Glug, on receiving a Special Mention in the Short Film Competition at the 2026 Haifa International Film Festival.
The jury’s statement:
“A wild, funny, and extraordinary film about the grotesque, never-ending cycle of life. The sheer joy of creating the animation is palpable, as is the delight in pushing both boundaries and characters to their limits. The result is an explosion of energy on screen that is shocking and wonderful at the same time. May we see many more wonderfully unhinged animated films like this.”
