Congratulations to the Winners of the Impact & AI Student Graduation Films Workshop

The Impact & AI Student Graduation Films Workshop concluded earlier this week with a wonderful pitching event. Perhaps some of you will remember, we originally announced that only five projects would receive production support. However, after seeing yesterday’s presentations on stage at the Jerusalem Film Festival, we found it very difficult to make that distinction. The teams presented thoughtful and compelling stories, and it was clear that each project has the potential to become an excellent film.

So, we decided not to leave any of the projects behind! 👏

Each team will receive a 30,000 NIS production grant from the Makor Foundation. In addition, the project Out of Bounds will receive the 5,000-NIS Excellence Award, generously presented by United Studios Israel.

A huge thank you to our wonderful partners, without whom this workshop would not have been possible: Lightricks, Sapir Academic College, Reichman University, United Studios Israel, and the Jerusalem Film Festival. Special thanks to Dr. Michal Ben-David for managing the workshop and leading the AI track, to Penina Halfon Lang and Nili Kalmer for leading the impact track, to Eveline Kluger-Kadish for producing the workshop, and to Tamir Naim for sharing his knowledge and experience with the teams throughout the program. We would also like to thank Sigi Golan and Efrat Dror for serving on the jury.

Congratulations to all the teams! 🎬🥂
