Makor Media Lab’s XR Incubator that took place last week included four intensive days of lectures, personal meetings, master classes, viewing VR experiences from Israel and around the world and a diverse open industry event. For the fourth consecutive year, the Makor Media Lab incubator has engaged 7 creative teams in connecting stories about Jewish life in Arab and Islamic countries with experimental and narrative immersive creations in new media.
The teams deepened their familiarity with the world of XR while enjoying the knowledge and experience of 5 mentors in scriptwriting and storytelling, technology, production, marketing and distribution. All of this, in order to continue developing their projects towards final submissions.
Three of the seven projects will receive production grants of 433,000 NIS and participate in the XR Development Market at the NewImages Festival in Paris 2026. The completed projects will be exhibited at Anu – Museum of the Jewish People.
A huge thank you to all our partners, this couldn’t have happened without you!
