While entering the hostages’ families’ tent, fear and grief consumed me. I stood there, frozen. Suddenly a stranger offered to fold a paper butterfly. In those fleeting moments, a smile crossed my face, and I found comfort in prayer.
The project ‘Butterflies for Hope’ was created by Pinkfront, a protest group that uses artistic tools to strengthen Israeli democracy.
