His Wife

Hagit is preparing for the return of her husband, Michael. He was injured three years ago. She’s been nursing him in the hospital since. His parents are bringing him for the first time home, in preparation for his return. During the evening, tensions arise between Michael’s parents and Hagit & her daughters. The tension reaches its peak when Michael holds Hagit’s hand and does not let go. Hagit understands that reality has changed forever, she will be required to take care and become a nursing home. She is unable to bear the hardship it causes her daughters and after a sleepless night, she wakes her daughters up and they drive away to her mother despite the Sabbath.
