The Tale of Glug and Blob

On a tiny flesh-and-blood planet, a cute and lonely alien needs to give birth to a single-use fruit tree every single day to sustain himself. This painful symbiosis is disrupted by the appearance of a beautiful, baby-like seed, who the love-struck Glug refuses to swallow in order to birth the next tree in line.  The refusal unhinges the life on the small planet, and when Glug discovers the ground is just as edible as the fruits, there’s nothing in the world that could force him to swallow the seed- although the world is certainly going to try…
